daily in the first week, spreading out you become more confident and experienced
weekly from the second week to fourth weeks
at one month with a final visit at 6/52 to give you a photocopy of your notes
During this time, you have access to my colleague or me, 24 hours a day by telephone.
Post natal visits usually last about I hour, giving plenty of time to check mother and baby, give advice on baby care and breastfeeding and all aspects of ;life with a newborn baby.
By the last visit at 6/52 you will be confident and competent in your new role as a parent.
